November arrives and with it comes one of the most representative celebrations of Mexico. Our country is rich in culture and this tradition contains the purest of the Mexican spirit. Every year at this time Mexicans remember our loved ones and honor them through offerings, festivals and performances such as La Catrina. This Mexican symbol is represented in sugar skulls and handicrafts and comes to life in beautiful makeup accompanied by imposing costumes that represent different stories.

For this session we created a delicate Bride-Catrina with unique touches. Below we share the details of this look.

This is a beautiful Catrina that with a very light makeup highlights the features and brings femininity to this classic look.  We start by defining the face with a makeup that followed the shape of our model’s cheekbones and gently blur to give an ethereal finish. We highlighted the shape of his eye giving an effect that made him look bigger and adorned with facial pearls to add a touch of shine. In addition to the shadows in warm tones we add red for sensual and striking lips. The final detail was the cempasúchil headband to crown the look.
